Visit Seattle came to Atlantic Re:think looking for new ways to reach an audience of “adventure-culturists” who may not already have Seattle on their bucket list, hoping to spark interest in the city as a hub for culture, history, and unique experiences.

We came up with was a series of not-so-typical travel videos that explore the city’s history through untold stories of resistance and struggle, highlighting the marginalized communities that have helped shape the city’s people and culture over the past 60 years.

Our 3-part series drove over 2.6M views with one of the episodes receiving more likes than any other video Visit Seattle had ever published to its YouTube channel.
